Internship Opportunities
Each summer we have a vacancy for an intern at our offices in Clapham, South London. NONSTOP Ski & Snowboard is a young and rapidly growing company and an ideal company at which to gain valuable work experience. The reward is pretty good too!
THE NONSTOP INTERNSHIP
We run skiing and snowboarding improvement and instructor courses in Western Canada and New Zealand. The family-owned company is run by four full time employees in the London office.
The internship is a non-salaried position but on completion of the internship the candidate is awarded a free place on one of our 5-week ski or snowboard instructor courses or our 6-week Master the Mountain programme*. This placement includes all the components of the course that a paying client would receive but excludes travel insurance, flights, spending money, lunches, weekend meals and ski/snowboard equipment. The intern will benefit from the experience and training of working in a small, dynamic and rapidly growing organisation.
By the end of the 4 months the candidate will have a good insight into the working of a small business. The internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of transferable skills ranging from marketing, administration, website development, project management and customer service.
The internship will run from September (date to be arranged) to 24th December 2010. The dates will vary for the course, depending on the one the candidate chooses.
6-week Master the Mountain Course: 19th Jan 2011 - 2nd March 2011
5-week Instructor Course: 5th March 2011 - 9th April 2011
The successful candidate must be a keen skier or snowboarder who shares the same passions for the mountains that we do. All applications are to reach us by 1st June 2010 and interviews will take place at our offices during June/July 2010. If we find the perfect candidate before this date, applications will close.
All applicants should be bright, hard working graduates with strong IT skills and a good telephone manner.
Please send your CV and a covering letter outlining the reasons you would like to complete this internship with us, along with the details of two referees, to georgie@nonstopadventure.com.
