The Mountain
Banff's three ski areas offer an incredible variety of snowboarding. Each resort; Lake Louise, Sunshine and Norquay, offer something different; everyone has their favourite. We are the only instructor training company that are able to teach at all three resorts.
The snow conditions and type of terrain varies considerably between resorts and offers our seasonaires a great training ground for developing their skills and working towards their instructor qualifications. Your ski pass will cover all three resorts and our instructors will ensure that each day you visit the resort that has the best conditions.
Lake Louise
Lake Louise is world renowned for its extensive snowboarding, dry powder, modern services, and stunning scenery. The vast ski area is spread over four mountain faces to give a massive 4,200 acres of trails and pistes. The wide, well manicured pistes and the challenging opportunities off piste make it a resort for everyone.
Lake Louise is also famous for having one of the best North American parks. There are a variety of lines laid out for different levels of experience offering beginners a variety of small tables, hops and rollers that provide a perfect introduction to park riding. The intermediate and pro lines offer more advanced riders larger table features and technical rails.

Sunshine
Sunshine is renowned for having some of Canada's best and most reliable snow conditions, so good in fact that there's no need for snow making! On average Sunshine receives a staggering 33ft of the white stuff a year! At an altitiude of 8,954 feet (2730 meters) Sunshine is the highest resort in Canada and has one of the longest seasons in North America.
The resort has a huge range of terrain from wide groomed pistes and winding cat tracks to open powder bowls and gladed tree runs. In general Sunshine is not a particularly steep ski area offering novice and intermediate snowboarders a wide choice of runs. However, the recently opened 'Delirium Dive', only accessible to skiers wearing avalanche transceivers, is an awesome double-black extreme ski/snowboard area that will push experienced riders to the limit.

Norquay
Located just outside Banff, Norquay is the smallest of the three resorts but offers a wide variety of terrain including perfectly groomed pistes to challenging lines on some steep double black diamonds. It is a quieter and more laid back resort and when it snows this is one of the best places to get fresh tracks without long lift lines. Norquay has a good park, a selection of kickers and a variety of rails. There is a quick quad chair lift alongside the park so there's no need for hiking. Every Wednesday evening Norquay is open for night-riding so you can make some late turns or session the park before enjoying beers in the Lone Pine Pub at the base of the resort.
