Accommodation & Meals
The accomodation we use on our Kicking Horse programme is situated in the town of Golden, allowing you to get a real seasonaires experience and become part of the community. You will all live in the comfortable Alpenrose Lodge.
The Alpenrose
All seasonaires will live in the Alpenrose, either in the comfortably furnished lodge or outhouse cabins within snowball throwing distance of the main lodge.
Most rooms are shared but there are a limited amount of single rooms available, offered on a 'first come, first served' basis and couples applying together will be offered a private double room, subject to availability. (Please ring the office for details).

The Alpenrose is situated just off the main highway in Golden. There are several local shops nearby for you to stock up on supplies and it is only a 15 minute walk into the heart of town.
Meals
We provide delicious hearty, healthy evening meals four days a week on group training days. We know how important it is to eat well when you're snowboarding each day. Supper is an important social time when the day's stories of powder turns are shared and when our course hosts can update you on forthcoming events.

Accommodation for couples
We have plenty of couples coming on our courses and can easily accommodate you. Please contact us in the office with your questions.
Accommodation for groups
If you are keen to come as a group please get in touch with us so we can tailor a package to your needs.
Pre and Post Stays
We now offer accommodation both before and after our 11-week courses so that you can spend between 3 to 6 months in Canada. If you would like to arrive early in order to find your ski legs or stay on later (because you just won't want to leave!) please contact the office for details.
Additional accommodation is charged at a rate of between $200-300/week. Your season pass is valid from the time you arrive in Kicking Horse to the day the resort closes.
