The Terrain

Whistler Blackcomb has over 12 alpine bowls to choose from; 8,100 acres of terrain; 200 marked trails and 33 lifts making it one of the largest places in the world to snowboard. The massive snowfall makes it an ideal location for those keen on experiencing “West Coast powder” unlike that found in Europe or Eastern Canada. The area also has one of the longest winter seasons in North America thanks to its high snowfall and three glaciers.

The snowboarding at Whistler is really varied which makes it perfect for our snowboard instructor course with plenty of groomed pistes for practicing teaching techniques and more advanced riding in gladded trees and powder bowls for improving your personal riding technique.

Whistler Blackcomb is at the forefront of snowboard progression with a well earned reputation for being at the centre of the freestyle movement. The Terrain Parks contain a massive variety of features with a wide range of rails, different sized kickers, hips and table tops as well as a world-class super pipe.
