Being a truly international resort Whistler attracts people from all around the world. With over 200 shops there is plenty to distract you; on the food side the 90 plus restaurants offer every type of food imaginable.
Bars, Shops & Activities
As far as après ski is concerned Whistler Blackcomb has got all needs catered for, be it table top dancing at Merlin’s, relaxing with the locals at Dusty’s or partying the night away at Tommy Africa’s. Whistler is a town full of energy but at the same time manages to retain a friendly atmosphere.
If you want a total break from skiing the options are endless:
- Gym – as if you’ll need it skiing all day

- Museum and library
- Climbing wall and Ice wall
- Spas
- Wildlife viewing
It is also worth noting that Whistler always has some competition or festival going on which means there will often be a party atmosphere throughout the season.
