2-Week Snowboard Improvement Course

Course Structure

Our two week snowboard improvement courses follow a basic philosophy... lots of riding! Two weeks is longer than the average snowboarding holiday but the extra time really makes all the difference. Add to this some top class tuition from some of Canada's most experienced instructors and you've got a sure way to help your riding improve massively.

Course Overview

Saturday - Arrival Although we arrange a group flight for those flying from the UK, some people choose to meet us at Calgary airport for the group shuttle to Fernie. On arrival its a case of unpacking and then sleep for most but then there's always a few who are keen for a sociable night cap.
Sunday This is your chance to arrange any equipment you may need (we'll offer you guidance on the best shops and what gear to get) and settle into Fernie. It's also a leisurely day to find your legs and explore the mountain.
Monday - Thursday Each day we provide five hours of lessons. Snowboard groups are arranged according to experience level and the emphasis of the instruction is tailored to your needs.
Friday Either enjoy some freeriding or take our optional 1 day Avalanche Safety Course covering off-piste safety skills. Check out the 'Extra Activities' page to learn more.
Saturday - Sunday Enjoy freeriding with friends; alternatively, take some time off to relax and check out Fernie.
Monday - Thursday The second week of lessons follows a similar format to the first but by now you will be fitter, more in tune and feeling more confident. Your coach will help you achieve some personal breakthroughs and push you into more challenging terrain and conditions.
Friday Choose either the optional day cat-boarding (see 'Extra Activities' page)  - a true highlight of the holiday. Alternatively, enjoy a last day snowboarding at the resort.
Saturday - Departure After a fortnight in Canada's powder capital, it's time to leave Fernie and head back to Calgary airport for the flight home.

Please note that due to the holiday season our courses over New Year arrive on a Sunday and depart on a Saturday.
