6-Week 'master the mountain'

The Package

We appreciate there is a lot of information to take in; to help you we have listed everything that is included and not included in our 'Master the Mountain' course. We hope you feel we are delivering value for money on our courses; we believe it is crucial to do so which is why we include all of this in the price.

Included

Airport transfers

We include a shuttle service between the airport and the resort. The departure date and times are coordinated with the times of the group flights we arrange from London to Canada. If travelling at other times or on different dates then we can advise you on the public transfer services available.

Weekday shuttle to resort

In Fernie we own our own buses and provide a morning and afternoon shuttle to/from the resort each day. The journey time is approx. 8 minutes.

Accommodation

In the Red Tree Lodge

Breakfasts

A continental breakfast is provided on weekdays at the Red Tree Lodge restaurant. This is the perfect start to a day on the slopes.

Dinners

These are provided four nights a week; on your coaching days. They are three course meals and are designed to be filling and delicious; perfect after a day on the slopes.

Video analysis

This is a great tool that our instructors use to help identify areas that you need to improve on. We have playback facilities on the mountain so you can see straightaway what areas need work.

Snowboard maintenance tuition

Recreational Avalanche Course

This is two day course that will teach you how search and rescue techniques; how to understand where the safest places to ski are and crucially give you a greater awareness of safety on the mountain.

4-day Backcountry Lodge Trip

A highlight of the trip! You will be flown in by helicopter to a remote log cabin before enjoying four days of backcountry skiing. Check out the extra activities section for more details.

Optional Extras

Flights (£600)

We arrange return flights on Air Canada for those travelling between the UK and Canada. Flights cost around £600. You can opt for a flight on your booking form. If you arrange your own flight you can meet us at the airport for the group transfer bus to the resort. Please contact us with any questions.

Level 1 CASI exam

If you wish to take your level 1 CASI there is an option to do so. This costs approx. £200

Snowboarding kit

If you don't yet own equipment it tends to be cheaper to buy rather than rent. Boards, bindings, and boots range from $1000 - $2000.

Lunches & non-inclusive meals

Typical costs: Lunch: $15, Dinner: $15-35. Pint of beer: $5.50. Glass of wine: $7.
