BECOME THE BEST RIDER YOU CAN BE
At NONSTOP Snowboard our main goal is to help you become the best snowboarder you can be. We want you to leave the Rockies being able to rip the whole mountain, whatever the conditions, in control, in style, and having fun. The All Mountain Pro (AMP) certification offers our clients a structured snowboard program with set goals and defined standards to train towards. AMP training and certification is available on our 3-week improvement camps, 6-week Master the Mountain courses and 11-week Instructor courses. Through AMP our professional snowboard instructors have coached hundreds of participants to become strong riders who are confidently riding a wide range of conditions whether it be riding switch, rail sliding fallen tree trunks, dropping cliffs or carving down groomed black runs. There are two parts to AMP:
1. RIDER SKILLS
Concentrating on your free-riding we enable you to ride the whole mountain with confidence and style - in any conditions. Assessment is based on the following modules:
• Tree runs • Controlled Air Time • Drop Ins • Varied Carve Turns • Short Radius Turns • Expression Session
2. ALL MOUNTAIN ACTIVIST
AMP is about more than simply becoming an advanced snowboarder. It’s also about experiencing and developing an understanding of the snowboard industry and living the mountain life. NONSTOP Snowboard participants can take part in several experiences including:
• Shadow the Mountain Patrol • Shadow snowboard school instructors or local guides • Volunteer at local festivals and snowboard competitions • Participate in competitions or local events • Experience other ski resorts • Attend avalanche & backcountry courses
Once on their course, our clients receive full details of the AMP course and the options available on the program.
