The Package
With six years experience of running our 3-week snowboard instructor courses we're confident that the following package includes everything needed to make your stay in Canada an enjoyable, memorable, and successful one.
Included
Airport Transfers
We include a shuttle service between the airport and the resort. The departure date and times are coordinated with the times of the group flights we arrange from London to Canada. If travelling at other times or on different dates then we can advise you on the public transfer services available.
Daily Shuttle to the resort
In Fernie we own our own buses and provide a morning and afternoon shuttle to/from the resort each day. The journey time is approx. 8 minutes. In Banff a bus pass is included for the course duration for use on the public buses. In Whistler the accommodation is ski-in/out, but a free bus service is provided by the hotel.

Dinners
In Fernie & Whistler: 3 nights per week. This enables you to explore the other restaurants or use the self catering facilities. In Banff we include 4 dinners per week at the Voyager hotel.

Professional Coaching (20 hours per week)
Please note that our New Year instructor course for 2010.11 is actually a 19 night stay due to the fact that Christmas falls on a Saturday and we figure many participants will want to be back home on a Sunday. Therefore there will be 11 days of training (1 less than usual) on this particular course.

A great tool which we use on a weekly basis. The resorts have some great feedback facilities.
CASI Level 1 Instructor Course fees
Instructor Career Advice
During the 3-week course there will be a seminar on working as a ski instructor covering job applications, work visas and typical hours and wages. In addition you will receive our 40 page advice handbook on "working as a ski instructor" which includes a directory of ski schools around the world.

Optional extras
Flights (Approx. £600)
We arrange return flights on Air Canada for those travelling between the UK and Canada. Flights cost around £600. You can opt for a flight on your booking form. If you arrange your own flight you can meet us at the airport for the group transfer bus to the resort. Please contact us with any questions.
Season Lift Pass Upgrade ($900 approx)
On our Banff courses you can opt to upgrade your tri area lift pass to a tri area season pass.
Season Bus Pass Upgrade ($500 approx - Banff only)
You can also upgrade your 3-week bus pass on our Banff course to a full season bus pass.
Cat-Boarding ($486/£280 - Fernie only)
The day cat-boarding is a highlight of most people's trip to Fernie. Somewhat similar to heli-skiing, it involves a whole day of riding fresh powder in the backcountry getting rides to the top of the mountain in a cat (aka 'piste basher'). Good times guaranteed!
Avalanche Safety Course ($95/£55 - Fernie only)
This one day course provides an introduction into off-piste safety covering avalanche terrain, snow stability tests and search and rescue techniques.

Lunches & non-inclusive meals
Spending money
Typical costs: Lunch: $15, Dinner: $15-35. Pint of beer: $5.50. Glass of wine: $7.
Snowboard equipment
If you don't yet own snowboard equipment it tends to be cheaper to buy rather than rent for 3-weeks. Board, bindings, and boots range from $1000 - $2000. Please note that helmets are now mandatory for the CASI exams.
3-Week Course plus Seasonal Accommodation Package
If you intend to live and work in Banff for the season we can offer a seasonal accommodation package as well.
Please note that if you opt for the the combined package of our 3-week instructor course in Banff and the full season accommodation package then meals are an added extra.
