Course Structure
Here is a brief outline of a typical week on the MAST course. If you are keen to get involved with the course, please contact us, and we will put you in touch with the Collage of the Rockies who will be able to give you a more detailed course structure.
A typical week
Every week is different! However class room weeks (about 50% of the course) take place from 9.00 – 12.00 and from 13.00 – 16.00. Field trip weeks are usually 5 days long and are all day, every day. During these trips you will sleep in tents, huts or hostels. Some of the trips are local (e.g. rafting the Elk River) and these are long days (8 – 10 hours per day) with no need to stay away over night.
