Qualifications
The MAST course gives you the opportunity to gain a whole range of exciting qualifications, which will improve your chances of finding work in the adventure travel industry.
Qualifications
Whilst on the course you may gain the following qualifications:
- Class 4 Driver’s Licence (Prerequisite: Valid BC vehicle licence, medical exam)
- WCB Occupational First Aid Level 3 or Wilderness First Aid (students responsible for medical exam costs)
- Rescue Canada Swiftwater Rescue Technician Certification Level 3
- Choice of CASI level 1 (or level 2 if you already have level 1 but difference in price is a student cost)
- RCABC Lakewater Instructor Certification
- MPHIA – Mountain Parks Heritage Interpreters Assoc. Certification
- Avalanche Safety Training – CAA endorsed curriculum
